I started cake decorating in 1985 at local adult education college, and soon progressed to teaching sugarcraft at adult education in Medway, at sugarcraft shops and at local British Sugarcraft Guild meetings. I was a British Sugarcraft Guild Judge for many years, travelling all over the country to attend competitions and started making wedding cakes from home in 1989. I furthered my training with the best in the country and I have also taken City & Guilds examinations in hand made lifelike sugar flowers.
I have always loved classically styled wedding cakes and this is where I have chosen to specialise. I'm sorry but I don't undertake anything "novelty" so if you had that style in mind, then I'm not your wedding cake designer.
I am a very small cake designer working from home and can only produce a maximum of two cakes per week due to the amount of time and care I lavish on each one. So you are getting a really personalised service.
If you like the pictures you see on my site, then please telephone me to make an appointment to discuss the design of your wedding cake. You can make a selection from my existing collection of designs, bring some ideas you have collected from magazines or let me create you a totally unique and bespoke wedding cake tailored to your colour scheme and theme. I look forward to speaking with you and designing a cake for your very special day.
